Exploration and Implementation of Integrating Ideological and Political Education in English Viewing, Listening and Speaking Course in Zhejiang Yuexiu University

English teaching and ideological and political education are important components of talent cultivation in higher education in China. English major students play a significant role in telling the Chinese story and enhancing China’s international communication practice. To promote the integration of ideological and political education into curriculum development, this paper, utilizing theme-based teaching method, attempts to explore the path of incorporating ideological and political education into English Viewing, Listening and Speaking Course.
