Abstract

English teaching and ideological and political education are important components of talent cultivation in higher education in China. English major students play a significant role in telling the Chinese story and enhancing China’s international communication practice. To promote the integration of ideological and political education into curriculum development, this paper, utilizing theme-based teaching method, attempts to explore the path of incorporating ideological and political education into English Viewing, Listening and Speaking Course.
