ERP SELECTION CRITERIA CLASSIFICATION: A DELPHI STUDY CLASSIFICA O DE CRITéRIOS PARA SELE O DE ERP: UM ESTUDO UTILIZANDO A TéCNICA DELPHI

The selection of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) must be carefull, considering the high costs involved in its purchase and implantation. Managers of areas such as Accounting, Finance and, specially, Information Systems (IS) and Information Technology (IT) need support and tools for ERP selection. This paper presents a study conducted to classify assessment criteria which can then be used in analysis involving a Decision Support System (DSS), which will allow the assessment of the impacts of the organization changes related to the implantation of the selected system. The classification was obtained using Delphi, applied to experts in the selection and implantation of ERP. Results were satisfactory after two rounds, which demonstrated its plausibility to determine the importance of the assessment criteria, among which the following were highlighted: functionality; cross modular integration; information (reference) about supplier; ‘implementability’ and flexibility. A escolha de um Sistema Integrado de Gest o (ERP) deve ser feita de forma criteriosa, em face dos altos custos envolvidos na aquisi o deste tipo de sistemas. Gestores de áreas como contabilidade, financeiro e, principalmente, de sistemas de informa o (SI) e de tecnologia da informa o (TI) necessitam de apoio e ferramentas que os auxiliem na sele o de um ERP. Este artigo apresenta uma pesquisa realizada visando a classificar os principais critérios de avalia o que possam ser utilizados em análise por Sistema de Apoio à Decis o (SAD), o que possibilitará a avalia o das adequa es e impactos nas mudan as da organiza o relacionadas com a escolha final do sistema. Essa classifica o foi feita utilizando-se a Técnica Delphi, aplicada em especialistas em sele o e implanta o de ERP. O resultado mostrou-se satisfatório em duas rodadas e demonstrou ser plausível a sua utiliza o para se definir a importancia dos critérios. Dentre outros, destacaram-se os seguintes critérios: funcionalidade; integra o modular cruzada; referências do fornecedor; ‘implantabilidade’ e flexibilidade.
