Considering this state, the coastal charlands of Bangladesh are highly dynamic as these change their size, shape, orientation, and other physical attributes frequently. Focusing on one of these chars, which is Char Kasem, an isolated coastal char of the Patuakhali district of Bangladesh, spatio-temp...

Firewood and charcoal are the main sources of energy in Cameroon and are among the factors that cause deforestation. However, the accumulation of wood residues in processing industries is a source of energy that can be capitalized on to meet society’s needs. The recovery of these residues into wood pellets is an activity that can replenish areas poor in biomass and thus contribute to the reduction of pressures on the natural ecosystem, desertification, and climate change. As a result, this study...

This study investigated the diversity of zooplanktonic microcrustaceans in Lake Tison, a crater lake located in the High Guinean Savannah of Cameroon. Sampling was conducted on a fortnightly basis from November 2018 to January 2020. Physicochemical parameters were measured vertically at the center of the lake, from -0.5 m to -20 m. Organisms were collected from both the shoreline and the water column. During the dry season, the euphotic layer measured 7.07 ± 0.45 m, with cooler (23.46℃ ...

In the experiment to explore Ohm’s law of closed circuits, the traditional method is to use an adjustable internal resistance battery, a sliding rheostat and other electrical instruments to form a closed circuit. This circuit can measure the internal voltage and terminal voltage in the circuit. However, this experiment is prone to large experimental errors, and the experimental process is relatively complex. More importantly, it is not easy to succeed. Such an experiment is not conducive to stud...

This text is a suggestion for defining the term political violence against women from the perspective of political philosophy. Naming this phenomenon and conceptualizing it from this perspective seems fundamental in order to give visibility to this form of manifestation of violence and to elucidate it as a device from which legal and political systems should be instigated to move towards the creation of new structures. We propose to think of political violence against women as the manifestation ...

Many of Giorgio de Chirico’s motifs have an ambiguous identity. Academic discussions have frequently sought to establish the identity of the figures through perceived resemblances. This essay adopts a semiotic approach, as it enables a more precise differentiation between various forms of identity. With this essay, I discuss how the ambiguity of motif and picture behaves with a specific subject like Guillaume Apollinaire. I aim to emphasize the duality of the depiction and to propose an addition...

The term “multiple births” refers to the presence of more than one fetus in the uterus. The presence of several fetuses increases the risk of complications. The main risk for the fetus is extreme prematurity (less than 33 weeks) and very premature birth (less than 29 weeks), with its consequences on neonatal mortality and the risk of serious neurological morbidity. The prognosis of premature babies is very dependent on perinatal care. Care becomes even more delicate when it comes to multiple bir...
