The Reform and Practice of the Integrated Teaching of Academic English Reading and Writing under the Concept of OBE in Medical Universities

Abstract
Improving the academic English reading and writing ability of medical students is an important measure to promote the academic literacy of medical students and improve their international competitiveness. However, the current academic English teaching effect for medical students in medical universities is not satisfactory. Starting from the background of the construction of “new medicine”, guided by the outcome-oriented concept of OBE, this project takes the abstract of academic papers as the content and cultivates the academic English reading and writing ability of medical undergraduates as the learning outcome, and reversely designs the blended teaching mode by borrowing the concept of OBE, and clarifies the teaching objectives of academic abstract reading and writing, so as to implement a three-dimensional and all-round teaching reform for the teaching of academic English reading and writing for medical undergraduates through the implementation of teaching to test the teaching effect.
