Abstract

With the development of global integration, the content of music classes in Chinese primary and secondary schools has gradually been replaced by Western music, and more and more Chinese music scholars have realized that no matter what, we must not forget the traditional music of our own nation. Based on the long history of traditional Chinese music and education, this paper expounds, introduces and demonstrates the importance of traditional Chinese music in modern school education [1]. The content of the article includes: the development history and specific content of traditional Chinese music culture, and the current problems of traditional Chinese music learning in primary and secondary school music education; The significance and role of traditional Chinese music in school music teaching and suggestions for the education of traditional Chinese music.
