The Beibu Gulf offshore Silk Road is an important part of the South China Sea maritime Silk Road, for the two countries between the two countries and China and Southeast Asian economic and cultural exchanges play an extremely important role, in the historical period of the Beibu Gulf offshore Silk Road is not static, but has experienced a new process of change, route change and prompted the Beibu Gulf regional shipping center transfer. Using various historical data at home and abroad, and examining the use, scale and use frequency of the Beibu Gulf route in different periods, the process of the coastal Silk Road changes of the Beibu Gulf in the historical period is basically restored. On the whole, taking the Song Dynasty as the demarcation point, the Beibu Gulf Offshore Silk Road before the Song Dynasty was formed in the Qin and Han Dynasties, experienced the gradual development of Wei and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties, reached the peak in the Song Dynasty, showing the diversification of the use of the route and the increase of navigation activities, the regional shipping center in Hepu (Tang Lian Zhou); After the Song Dynasty, due to the realization of ocean navigation, the independence of Vietnam and the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the Beibu Gulf offshore Silk Road flourished, visible large-scale navigation activities, and the shipping center was transferred from Lianzhou to Qinzhou.
