Abstract

High-quality development is an important goal in modern society, requiring the integration of economic and social development with the comprehensive development of individuals. Under the backdrop of high-quality development, the ideological and political education in the curriculum undertakes the mission of cultivating versatile talents that meet the demands of the times. This paper delves into the connotations and characteristics of ideological and political education in the context of high-quality development. Through a multi-perspective research approach, it dissects the significant role of ideological and political education in cultivating students’ comprehensive qualities, sense of social responsibility, and innovation capabilities. The study aims to provide theoretical support for the construction of ideological and political education in higher vocational colleges, promote the development of coordinated teaching, and realize the fundamental task of fostering well-rounded individuals.
