However, the traditional music teaching method is limited to explanation and demonstration, lacking interaction and participation, and it is difficult to arouse students’ interest and attention. Therefore, how to improve the effect of music teaching has become an important problem in current music education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the effectiveness and feasibility of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music classroom, in order to provide new ideas and methods for primary school music education. This study adopts the research method of combining literature analysis and field observation. Through the theoretical analysis and practical operation of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music education, combined with the investigation and interview of primary school students, this paper explores the application effect and influencing factors of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music education. This paper explores the application and effect of Orff’s music teaching method in the teaching of Ukulele in primary school music classroom. The results show that Orff’s music teaching method can enhance students’ interest and participation through interactive, participatory and individualized education methods, which is conducive to improving the teaching effect. At the same time, through the research of this paper, we also find that there are still some limitations and problems in the application of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music education, which need to be further explored and solved. In summary, this paper discusses the enlightenment and significance of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music classroom through the application and practice of Orff’s music teaching method in primary school music classroom. We can find that primary school music education needs to pay more attention to individualized, interactive and participatory education methods, and fully mobilize students’ interest, initiative and initiative, so as to enhance the effect and significance of classroom teaching. In the future, we should give full play to the advantages of Orff’s music teaching method, and continue to explore and innovate the teaching methods and means of elementary school music education.
