The Determination Of The Anxieties Of Classroom Teacher Candidates Regarding “Multi-Grade Class Teaching Practices”

Abstract: In this study, the anxiety of classroom teacher candidates regarding the education period and school management in the case that the first job they're appointed to is for multi-grade classroom teaching. The data of this study was obtained from the teacher candidates who were final year students in the Department of Classroom Teaching in the Faculty of Bolu Abant ？zzet Baysal University (BA？Bü) and took the lesson of “Multi-Grade Class Teaching” in the spring term of the 2017-2018 academic year. In this study, the forms were applied to 116 teacher candidates and 98 of those who answered the questions in an apprehensive and clear way were took under review. The obtained data were analyzed through content analysis. For the validity and reliability of the data, the opinions of teacher candidates were given as quotations. As a result of the research, in the case that the first assignment of the teacher candidates for their profession is for multi-grade class teaching, it is determined that they will show a high level of anxiety regarding education and training in the case of preparing a lesson plan, have difficulties in effectively managing class time and practicing after 2 hours and weekly theoretical lesson, feel anxiety about school management, and the multi-grade class teaching lesson which is taught theoretically as a 2 hour lesson in a week is not sufficient; therefore it will definitely be beneficial to gain their experiences regarding multi-grade class teaching in their practice schools. The suggestions are made according to the results obtained in the study
Investigation of the Effects of Primary School Teacher Program Students on Teaching Attitudes of Practices in Multigrade School

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of the applications in the multigrade class primary schools on the teaching attitude of the fourth year students of the classroom teacher program in the multigrade classrooms. The only group of research is pretest-posttest experimental design. The population of the study is composed of the fourth grade students studying in the Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Education. There are 27 students in the multigrade classrooms. Attitude scale related to teaching was used as data collection tool. The research was conducted in February and March 2017. In the scope of the research, a four-week period was applied in the unified class primary schools in Yozgat. Experimental procedure was carried out with fourth grade students in the classroom teaching program that took the teaching class in the multigrade classes. Within the scope of the plan prepared by the researcher, lesson activities and practices were realized by the students in the multigrade classes. In the analysis of the data, t test was applied for the related samples. At the end of the study, it was determined that there was no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the attitude scale related to teaching, t(26)=1,48, p>.05. When the mean scores of the attitude scale (=4.20) and posttest mean scores (=4.37) of the students were examined, it was determined that the students of the senior education department had a positive attitude towards teaching. Although there was no significant difference between the pre-test scores of the attitude scale and the posttest scores of the teaching attitude scale, it was observed that it contributed a little to the teaching attitude

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate the views of multigrade classroom teachers on life sciences curriculum. 5 males and 3 females, total of 8 multigrade classroom teachers participated in the study. Qualitative research design has been used in the research. Datum collected with focus-group interview methodology shaped with questions formulated around the themes elements of the curriculum and problems and recommendations to the application of life sciences curriculum . According to the findings of the study, teachers stated that they have difficulties on implementing curriculum of life sciences and for multigrade classes, a restructured curriculum is required. Finally, according to the findings of the study, suggestions made like: Gains of the life sciences curriculum should be restructured with conditions of the multigrade classrooms taken into account, contents of the life sciences curriculum should be re-established according to the requirements of the multigrade classrooms and in order to eliminate the adverse effects caused by grade differences in the classroom of the multigrade classrooms, appropriate measurement and evaluation tools and classroom activities should be designed. Determining the Strengths of The Preparation of the Individual Training Program of Teachers who are Working in Supporting and Inclus？ve Education

Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to determine the difficulties experienced by primary school teachers and teachers who are in the support education class during the process of preparation of individualized education program (IEP). In this quantitatively structured research, descriptive research is used. The universe of this research consist of primary school teachers who have inclusive education students in the classroom and teachers who are in charge of support education in 2017-2018 academic year in Kirsehir province. In this study, the universe method was studied and no method of sampling was done. In the collection of research data, a questionnaire was used to inquire about the demographic information of the participants and the "Scale to Identify Difficulties to be encountered in the IEP Preparation Process". As a result of the research, it was found that classroom teachers had more difficulties in the IEP preparation process than the teachers in the support education room and the difficulties experienced significantly in different ways. Furthermore, the findings of the research indicate that male teachers who work in the support education room have more difficulties than women teachers and there is no significant difference between the difficulties experienced during the preparation of the IEP and the seniority of the teacher groups

Abstract: The smartphone market is facing a huge growth in the last few years. Convenience and personalization are the main features of the Smartphones. Turkey is one of the top ranked countries in Smartphone market growth. Newer generation convergence products (all-in-ones, camera phones) offer consumers higher product performance in terms of quality which is better than their dedicated versions. Another dilemma starts in the minds of consumers about the purchase consideration because of the increased availability to many options. This paper investigates the choice patterns of Turkish university students for product forms (converged vs. dedicated) in different technological performance levels. Mostly the converged product is the choice without any difference in terms of product properties. In the end, managerial implications are addressed and directions for future research are suggested

Abstract: The goal of this study is to determine the reasons of why the single and married women living in Turkey, in urban and rural areas do participate the labour force through the 2002-2008 period. In other words, this study aims to search the reasons affecting the women’s decision of working. To this end, the study is conducted via a pooled data set merged by putting together the data gathered from Household Budget Surveys of the years 2002-2008. Logit model analysis is conducted for application. The results of the analysis illustrated that, education level, household income, dependency ratio, ownership of the property and women’s age are the most important factors as to the women’s decision of participating to labour force regarding the married and single women. Furthermore, the number of children reduces the labour force participation in urban areas while increases in rural areas.
The Investigation on The Effects of Different Temperature Types on Concrete Containing Expanded Perlite Aggregate

Abstract: This study was carried out to investigate the effect of high temperature by using fire and oven on the physical and mechanical properties of three different concrete classes that are C16/20, C20/25 and C40/50 also, concrete samples are manufactured as containing expanded perlite aggregate (EPA) and not containing perlite aggregate. The reference temperatures are specified as 22 oC, 100 oC, 300 oC, 500 oC in the oven and the case of fire. These temperatures are applied to a sample having 100x100x100 mm3 dimensions. The tests made on each concrete type are weight per unit volume, compressive strength, and ultrasonic pulse velocity. Consequently, the test results come out statistically different of the concrete samples affected by high temperature according to if the heat is applied by the oven or fire, the compressive strength of the samples decreases as the high-temperature degree increases in a compressive strength test. Besides that, while the loss of compressive strength of oven samples at 500 oC comes out approximately 60 %, for samples applied fire is approximately 10%

Abstract: Abstract The main mission of decision makers is to be ready to potential wars both in technological and mental manner during the peacetime. For his reason the prediction of how the future wars will be made is emerged as a primary goal. Especially, the conflicts with unknown involvers and technologies have created new concepts of wars during the 21st century. The hybrid theory of war as one of these concepts is examined in this article. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the features of the hybrid wars, understand the basic idea and explain the distinct aspects from the conventional wars. For this purpose, the question of "What is war?" is argued at the outset and the definition of war which is based on the hybrid war term is considered by giving plobal examples

Abstract: With the dissemination of the use of factories and open market principals in the 18th and 19th centuries, people and states started to reach products easily. Although this process eased life, it affected nature and human life severely. More than half-century international communities, like the UN, tried to find solutions to tackle poverty, environmental problems, and scarcity of resources. In 1987 Brundtland Commission report explained the need for united development and environment which then called sustainable development. In the following years fears from terroristic threats and environmental disasters increased so in 2000 Millenium Development Goals were published by the UN along with 22 non-governmental organizations with the aim of providing decent lives and protecting the environment. However, MDG was not successful in fulfilling its targets so at the concluding of it, set of new goals called Sustainable Development Goals were agreed to be implemented under 2030 Agenda with wider-pattern and human-centred approach. Despite SDGs broad approach to the subject, there are still incontrovertible lacks between targets and policies so the main aim of this article is to analyze the short comparison between the MDGs and the SDGs effectiveness and explain why more concrete policies and decentralized mechanisms are needed to accomplish goals
