Abstract:

this qualitative case study of descriptive and interpretative nature, approaches the cognitive dimension of 15 english as a foreign language academics, who, through a semi-structured interview, a self-reflection interview, a likert-like survey and journal-keeping, unravel their linguistic-pedagogical beliefs, regarding the teaching and learning of english in a local university in the eighth region of chile.
