the intention of this work is to show the science fiction story like an expressive cultural result, that can be useful as a generator of futurist technological concepts that could be taken to design projects. by means of the compositional and semiotics analysis of the abstracted images of the film i robot (proyas, 2004), in which a dialectic connotation between to be a human being and a robot is demonstrated, would be determined qualitatively how science fiction affects the cultural imaginary and its perception in front of technological advances.
