Meeting the talent demands of industrial and enterprise development, and exploring innovations in cultivating interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary application-oriented talents in economics and management disciplines, represents a practical issue and significant challenge for applied economics and management education. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the problems faced by high-caliber applied universities in cultivating top-tier talent in economics and management programs. The analysis focuses on aspects such as matching industrial needs, optimizing the curriculum system, integrating training components, and faculty development. Corresponding solutions are proposed.
