Abstract:

本文通过萨特的存在主义哲学视角,深入剖析了电影《岛上书店》中主人公A.J.费克里的心理转变和道德成长。文章首先概述了萨特存在主义的核心理念,包括“存在先于本质”、自由与责任的紧密关系,以及个体在面对荒诞性时如何通过选择塑造自身存在。随后,文章详细分析了主人公在经历个人悲剧后,如何从孤独和冷漠中觉醒,通过承担起抚养被遗弃婴儿的责任,重新找到生活的意义和目的。文章强调,主人公的故事体现了萨特哲学中个体自由选择的重要性,以及这些选择如何影响个体与社会的关系。最终,文章得出结论,即使在生活的荒诞和无常中,个体仍然能够通过自由选择来创造和赋予生活意义,实现自我超越。本文旨在揭示萨特存在主义哲学在现代文学和电影中的实践意义,以及它对个体自我实现的深刻启示。
This article deeply analyzes the protagonist A.J. Fikry in the movie “The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry” from Sartre’s existentialist philosophical perspective of psychological transformation and moral growth. The article first outlines the core ideas of Sartre’s existentialism, including “existence before essence”, the close relationship between freedom and responsibility, and how individuals shape their own existence through choices when facing absurdity. Subsequently, the article provides a detailed analysis of how the protagonist awakens from loneliness and apathy after experiencing personal tragedy, and rediscovers the meaning and purpose of life by taking on the responsibility of raising an abandoned baby. The article emphasizes that the protagonist’s story embodies the importance of individual freedom of choice in Sartre’s philosophy, and how these choices affect the relationship between individuals and society. In the end, the article concludes that even in the absurdity and impermanence of life, individuals can still create and give meaning to their lives through free choice, achieving self transcendence. This article aims to reveal the practical significance of Sartre’s existentialist philosophy in modern literature and film, as well as its profound implications for individual self realization.
