The approaches to translation studies are increasingly diversified and systematized, with interdisciplinary research emerging as a new trend. The new book “Chinese Discourse ‘Going Global’: Translation and Dissemination Studies” by Gao Bin, a distinguished professor at the School of Foreign Languages, Yangzhou University, integrates translation studies and communication studies, offering a fresh perspective, methodology, and research materials for promoting the “going global” strategy of Chinese discourse.
