Currently, the development of generative artificial intelligence has triggered a discussion on the copyright protection of AI-generated content. Artificial intelligence utilizes advanced neural network deep learning technology to generate works in the fields of literature, art and scientific creation that are virtually indistinguishable in appearance from works created by humans. The revolu-tionary changes of artificial intelligence have brought new challenges to the existing copyright laws. The article describes the background of AI-generated content that triggers copyright, and explores the copyright protection of AI-generated content in terms of the issues of the attributes of works, authorship, and copyright attribution of generative AI.
