In the context of the digital era, e-commerce platforms have become a key force in the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage. However, this process is also accompanied by ethical challenges, especially the lack of intellectual property protection, the trend of cultural homogenization and the maintenance of cultural authenticity, and the divergence between value choices and value judgments. This paper explores these issues in depth, and proposes strategies to strengthen intellectual property protection, promote cultural diversity, maintain cultural authenticity, and balance commercial and cultural values, in order to guide e-commerce platforms to achieve the harmonious coexistence of business development and cultural responsibility while respecting and protecting cultural heritage.
