The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between e-commerce and new quality productive forces and the dilemma of the development of new quality productive forces, and then provide strategies for the development of it. Through literature review and qualitative analysis, this paper analyzes the role of e-commerce technology innovation, management innovation and model innovation in promoting new quality productive forces. The study finds that e-commerce is an important embodiment of new quality productive forces, and e-commerce has laid a good foundation for the development of the new quality productive forces. In addition, the rise of cross-border e-commerce has promoted the optimal allocation of global resources and promoted the global development of new quality productive forces. The conclusion shows that e-commerce is an important way for the development of new quality productive forces, and will continue to inject impetus into high-quality economic development in the future.
