With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of smartization, digital economy has become an important driving force for economic growth and social development. The strategy of rural revitalization aims to address the imbalances and inadequacies in rural development, and promote the development of rural economy and the improvement of farmers’ lives. This paper will focus on the inadequacies of the synergistic relationship between digital economy and the rural revitalization strategy, as well as the optimal path for their synergistic development. It will put forward relevant suggestions to promote the organic combination of digital economy and the rural revitalization strategy, achieve synergistic development, and drive the economic prosperity and social progress of rural areas.
