|
Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the correlation between the ratio of monocyte/high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and EDN. Methods: A total of 62 patients with early diabetic nephropathy admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from December 2020 to July 2023 were selected as the EDN group, and 62 patients with type 2 diabetes admitted to the hospital during the same period were selected as the control group. Blood routine was determined by automatic blood cell analyzer, routine biochemical indexes were determined by automatic biochemical analyzer, and MHR was calculated according to blood routine and lipid indexes. The correlation between MHR and EDN was analyzed by Pearson method. Results: The levels of triglyceride, serum creatinine, urea nitrogen, monocyte count, uric acid and homocysteine in EDN group were higher than those in con-trol group (P < 0.05). The levels of MHR, triglycerides, blood creatinine, urea nitrogen, monocyte count, uric acid, and homocysteine in the EDN group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). High density lipoprotein cholesterol is lower than the control group (P < 0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that MHR was positively correlated with EDN (r = 0.303, P = 0.001).
