HISTORY OF MAMLUK TURKISH STATE IN THE PERIOD OF AL-MAL?K AL-KāM?L AL-SāYF AL-D?N SHA?BāN (4 AUGUST 1345-21 SEPTEMBER 1346)Keywords: Sultan ?aban,Arg?n el- ?la?,merkezi otorite, protesto, kurakl?k Abstract: There was a period when the Mamluk Turkish State had constant throne changes after the death of Malik al-Nāsir Muhammad. This unstable period in which the sons of Malik al-Nāsir Muhammad was in power was a history of the struggle of the bureaucracy to secure the central authority of the sultans against the struggle to rule over the administration. Al-Malik al-Kāmil al-Sāyf al-din Sha?bān, the allegiance of his predecessor and his brother, al-Malik al-Sālih Ismā?il, allied with other orders, especially his father-in-law Arghūn al-?Alā’ī. Following the policy of predecessor’s Ismā?il to break the authority of the powerful proprietary orders, he has begun to liquidate certain orders. Although Sultan Sha?bān faced problems such as protests, drought and public order in the period of sultanate that lasted about one year, he managed to solve these problems. In the sources of the period, Sultan Sha?bān, who was described as the most fond of pleasure and entertainment among the sons of Malik al-Nāsir Muhammad, was killed by being driven from the throne just as he neglected the state affairs and used the resources sparingly. There is no study that deals with the period of al-Malik al-Kāmil Sha?bān in detail. In our papers, a period of the history of the Mamluk Turkish State was discussed in the biography of Sultan Sha?bān
