This unstable period in which the sons of Malik al-N¨¡sir Muhammad was in power was a history of the struggle of the bureaucracy to secure the central authority of the sultans against the struggle to rule over the administration. Al-Malik al-K¨¡mil al-S¨¡yf al-din Sha£¿b¨¡n, the allegiance of his predecessor and his brother, al-Malik al-S¨¡lih Ism¨¡£¿il, allied with other orders, especially his father-in-law Argh¨±n al-£¿Al¨¡¡¯¨©. Following the policy of predecessor¡¯s Ism¨¡£¿il to break the authority of the powerful proprietary orders, he has begun to liquidate certain orders. Although Sultan Sha£¿b¨¡n faced problems such as protests, drought and public order in the period of sultanate that lasted about one year, he managed to solve these problems. In the sources of the period, Sultan Sha£¿b¨¡n, who was described as the most fond of pleasure and entertainment among the sons of Malik al-N¨¡sir Muhammad, was killed by being driven from the throne just as he neglected the state affairs and used the resources sparingly. There is no study that deals with the period of al-Malik al-K¨¡mil Sha£¿b¨¡n in detail.
