ALI B. UTHMāN AL-ūSHī AND HIS WORK MUSNAD AL-ANAS

Ali b. Uthmān al-ūshī, famous for his famed work Bad？ al-Amālī,is one of the important scholars of 6. century by Hijri calender. In addition to Kalam and Islam？c Law, he also wrote works in Hadith. His most important work in Hadith isNi？āb al-Akhbār known nowadays. His another work, unknown and unpublished is Musnadal-Anas. It is a source of Ni？āb al-Akhbār.It contains Enes b. Malik’s narrates by the prophet. Musnadal-Anas, is actually known as Nushatu Sem’an which is in circulation in the 3rd century Hijri. This Nuskha (book of Sem’an) is regarded as a fabricated Nuskha (narrates). In his work (Musnad al-Anas) al-ūshī takes his narrate rights from his teacher and narrate the hadith by dividing them into chapters, he collects them in this work.
