An Evaluation on the Conception of Religion in the Hittite Civilization

While many of the turkish tribes who migrated from Central Asia to many parts of the world centuries ago moved to settled life overtime, some tribes and clans continued to live nomadic life. Many of the Oghuz tribes who adopted this nomadic lifestyle came from the regions in the west of the K？z？l？rmak arc and the west of the line that included ？？el in Anatolia to Rumeli lands and they continued their lives in the plains in winters and in the plateaus in summers completely depending on the animal husbandry. This nomadic community was named as Y？rük-Türkmen in Anatolia. The word y？rük, which is used in socio-cultural life, has been used in hidtorical documents since 14th century. The word has been undergone phonetic changes such as yogrük, y？rügen y？rük, yürük, yuvruk, yü？rük, yü？rük, yürük, yuvrük, yüyrük in the Anatolian dialects. Because of the differences in articulation, the origin of the word y？rük whether it was derived from the words yor？-, yürük or yü？rük has resulted in controversy and no clear result has been found.
