THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE LEVEL OF SELF-CONFIDENCE OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS: A CASE STUDY IN TRABZONKeywords: ?zgüven,E?itim,Okul Y?neticisi,Y?netmelik Abstract: This study aims at finding out how demographic characteristics of school administrators working in elementary, junior and high school affect their level of self-confidence. The population of this study is the administrators who work in primary, secondary and high schools located in the Ortahisar District in Trabzon city. A total of 155 male and 32 female administrators participated in the study (n=187). The data were analyzed by SPSS, and Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Independent t-test, F (ANOVA), Mann Whitney U and Kruskall Wallis H tests were used for the analysis. It has been found that female managers had a higher internal self-confidence than male managers and school type has also an impact on self-esteem level of school administrators
