Clinically Silent Hemoglobin Variants, Hb D-Pu

Hb D-Punjab, which is the second most common haemoglobin variant after haemoglobin S in our country, is an important Hb variant, mostly associated with Hb S, although it is not clinically symptomatic, and is similar in clinical signs and symptoms to thalassemia.
