In most of the countries around the world, awarding artists and scientists becomea tradition in order to support the works in the field of fine arts and science and, by this way, to ensure the more successful works emerge. The common purpose of giving rewards in a variety of fields and, at both national and international level is to encourage the progress in these fields. In Turkey, awards have been given in several areas, especially arts, to help improvements in culture, art, and science for years. One of them is ？n？nü Awards Law enacted in 1946.
