A Programmed Guitar Music (A l’aube Du Dernier Jour)

The ultimate goal of this work is to examine the work of A l’aube Du Dernier Jour, composed by the French composer Francis Kleynjans, in the context of the twentieth century modern music movements and to make a technical and harmonic analysis of this work as well as its narrative direction. The main subject of the work is the programmed music, whose roots are evaluated in the music of the twentieth century and the music of the twentieth century but extend to the end of the nineteenth century. On the other hand, it is also possible to find traces from other 20th century music trends. Therefore, in order to be able to make comparisons as well as to place the pieces in the appropriate position, these trends were examined in chronological order. In this context, Francis Kleynjans, who has a very important place in guitar music in the 20th century, forms the essence of studying the harmonious, technical and narrative analysis of A l’aube Du Dernier Jour, as well as of program music and modern music writings
