Things out of The Pocket for The Lifes in The Pocket: A Research on Universty Students’ Willingness to Pay for Mobile Phone

The aim of this study is to determine the willingness of university students to pay for a mobile phone with the features they need in their current income situation. For this purpose, a face-to-face questionnaire was applied to 812 students at Hitit and Giresun Universities with similar socioeconomic profiles and frequency, factor analysis, independent samples t-test and One Way ANOVA were applied to data by SPSS package program. The results show that the average amount that students can pay for a mobile phone is 2071 TL, and when this is possible, this amount can pay about 1500 TL.
