ORDER OF PEACE, WORLD CITIZENSHIP AND OTHERS IN KANT: A STUDY ON THE FOUNDATIONS OF MODERN COSMOPOLITAN TOUGHT

Cosmopolitanism is a component of Kant’s philosophy. He designed a juridical order, with cosmopolitan content, for the genesis of universal human order. This juridical structure, has been placed as a peace order. Indeed, that Kant didn’t purpose a world state, he advocates an order in base of union of nations. At the center of the cosmopolitan law, it is the last step of the process, stands world citizens’ rights. But Kant, parallel to his cosmopolitan thoughts have prejudicial opinions that are contradict with them. This situation causes to be question the consistency of his universalist and cosmopolitan political theory
