Abstract:

This study was carried out to the determination of nutritive value of Tomato pomace (untreated and treated with 1 and 2% urea) using nylon bag and gas production techniques in Gizel sheep . Tow fistulae Gizel sheep with average BW 35±1.8 kg used in a complete randomized design. MP of untreated, treated with 1 and 2% urea was 190.44, 208.21 and 215.01g/kg respectively that showed significant differences (p<0.05). ME of untreated, treated with 1 and 2% urea was 5.236, 5.341 and 5.376 mj/kg respectively that showed significant differences (p<0.05). data showed that treating with urea can improve MP and ME content of Tomato Pomace
