Surgical treatment of low and intermediate grade lung net

In the spectrum of neuroendocrine carcinomas the gradual deterioration in the organization of the histological pattern bears a significant relationship with the prognosis of these tumours. Typical carcinoid tumours are found at one end of the wide spectrum of these pathological entities, and at the other, small-cell neuroendocrine carcinomas.
