Accuracy of Children in Reporting Asthma Control As Determined By c-ACT (Childhood-Asthma Control Test)DOI: 10.1016/j.jaci.2016.12.332 Abstract: The Childhood Asthma Control Test (c-ACT) is a validated tool commonly used to assess asthma control in children. Differences in responses between parent and child regarding symptoms may be due to the child’s inability to identify symptoms of poor asthma control. A chart review of data from the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Healthy Kids Express Asthma Program (HKEAP) assessed the agreement between parent and child scores on c-ACT questions to determine how accurately children gauge and report their asthma control.
