%X The Childhood Asthma Control Test (c-ACT) is a validated tool commonly used to assess
asthma control in children. Differences in responses between parent and child regarding
symptoms may be due to the childĄ¯s inability to identify symptoms of poor asthma control.
A chart review of data from the St. Louis ChildrenĄ¯s Hospital Healthy Kids Express
Asthma Program (HKEAP) assessed the agreement between parent and child scores on c-ACT
questions to determine how accurately children gauge and report their asthma control.
