Bcl2-like protein 12 plays a critical role in development of airway allergy through inducing aberrant TH2 polarizationDOI: 10.1016/j.jaci.2018.07.045 Abstract: Although it is well understood that skewed TH2 polarization plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of allergic asthma,1 the mechanism of TH2 polarization remains elusive.2 Our recent studies showed that Bcl2-like protein 12 (Bcl2L12) was associated with pathogenesis of TH2-biased inflammation in the intestine by facilitating TH2 polarization.3 Thus we hypothesize that Bcl2L12 might be also associated with the pathogenesis of allergic asthma.
