Anti-corruption Instrument and Economic Growth: Evidence from SADC Member StatesDOI: 10.12691/jfe-7-1-2 Abstract: This paper investigates the impact of an anti-corruption instrument on economic growth among Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states. We employed the years of ratification as the measure of the policy, fixed effect and difference-in-difference method to find the causal effect of anti-corruption policy on economic growth. The results show that for anti-corruption policy to have an effect on an economy the various institutions should be made proactive in the SADC member States
