%0 Journal Article %T Anti-corruption Instrument and Economic Growth: Evidence from SADC Member States %A Jennifer Frimpong %A Samuel Asante Gyamerah %A Stepana Lazarova %J Journal of Finance and Economics %D 2019 %R 10.12691/jfe-7-1-2 %X This paper investigates the impact of an anti-corruption instrument on economic growth among Southern African Development Community (SADC) member states. We employed the years of ratification as the measure of the policy, fixed effect and difference-in-difference method to find the causal effect of anti-corruption policy on economic growth. The results show that for anti-corruption policy to have an effect on an economy the various institutions should be made proactive in the SADC member States %U http://www.sciepub.com/JFE/abstract/9992
