Max Bleher and Konstantin Konstantinov – Two Pieces of Intransigence in the Romanian and Bulgarian Literatures between the Two World WarsAbstract: Max Blecher and Konstantin Konstantinov are two of the most queer and exceptional belletrists of the in-between wars period and they emerged on the Romanian and Bulgarian literary scene almost at the same time. This congruence has motivated us to a comparative reading of the two authors. Their main works were published between 1936–1940 and they were not read and valued as they would have deserved. We have tried to prove that in their psychological (at Konstantin Konstantinov) or avant-garde (at Max Blecher) works both writers visionarily render the world they live in
