Abstract:

throughthermogravimetricanalysis,theeffectofacidwashonburningperformanceofindustrialsludgewasstudied.bothcharacteristicindexesandkineticparametersofthesludgecombustionwerecalculatedbeforeandaftertheacidtreatment.moreover,thecombustion?supportingeffectofacidwashwasinvestigated.theresultsindicatethat,therewerefourweightlosspeaksduringthesludgecombustion,amongwhichthetworepresentingthevolatilematterreleaseandcombustionweightlosswerequiteobvious,whichplayedadominantroleintheentirecombustionprocess.afteracidpickling,thesludge'sspecificsurfaceareaincreased,anditsspatialstructureandchemicalcompositionalsochanged,whichpromotedreleaseofthevolatileorganicmattersinthesludge.thus,theignitionoccurredearlieranddiffusionrateoftheoxygenspeededup,makingthecombustioneasiertogoon.fortheacidwashedsludge,theactivationenergyreducedandthereactionreactivityincreased,indicatingtheeffectofspatialstructureonassistantcombustionwerebetterthanthatoftheself?containedmetaloncatalyticeffecttocombustion.
