Abstract:

thisstudyinvolvesmathematicalsimulationmodelsuchasinvitro-invivocorrelation(ivivc)developmentforvariousextendedreleaseformulationsofnimesulideloadedhydroxypropylmethylcellulose(hpmc)microparticles(m1,m2andm3containing1,2,and3ghpmc,respectivelyand1gdrugineach)?havingvariablereleasecharacteristics.?invitrodissolutiondataoftheseformulationswerecorrelatedtotheirrelevantinvivoabsorptionprofilesfollowedbypredictabilityworthanalysisoftheselevelaivivc.?nimaranwasusedascontrolformulationtovalidatedevelopedformulationsandtheirrespectivemodels.?theregressioncoefficientsofivivcplotsform1,m2,m3andnimaranwere0.8349,0.8312,0.9272and0.8981,respectively.?theinternalpredictionerrorforallformulationswaswithinlimits,i.e.,<10%.?agoodivivcwasfoundforcontrolledreleasenimesulideloadedhpmcfloatingm3microparticles.?inotherwords,thismathematicalsimulationmodelisbestfitforbiowaiverstudieswhichinvolvesstudyparametersasthoseadoptedform3??becausethevalueofitsivivcregressioncoefficientistheclosestto1ascomparedtom1andm2.
