NewperleididfishesfromtheMiddleTriassicstrataofYunnanProvince, PP. 915-927 Keywords: perleididfishes,MiddleTriassic,Yunnan Abstract: ThreenewgeneraandspeciesofperleididfishesfromtheMiddleTriassicstrataofYunnanProvince,i.e.,Fuyuanperleidusdengigen.etsp.nov.,Luopingperleidussuigen.etsp.nov.，andDiandongperleidusdenticulatusgen.etsp.nov.,aredescribedinthispaper.Fuyuanperleidusdengiisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbytheshapeofthemaxilla,thebigteeth,theornamentationoftheskullbones,maxillafusedwiththefirstinfraorbitalandthedeepenedflankscales.Luopingperleidussuiisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbythefollowingfeatures:thetriangularmainbranchiostegalrays,fourhorizontalrowsofdeepenedflankscalesanteriortothepelvicfin,andthreeanalscales.Diandongperleidusdenticulatusisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbythefollowingfeatures:theanteriorborderofsomeanteriorfinraysofboththepairedfinsandthedorsalandanalfinsbearingdenticles,andposteriorstronglyserratedscales.ThenewdiscoveriesnotonlyaddtothediversityofperleididfishesinSouthChina,butalsoshednewlightontheradiationofTriassicperleididfishesintheworld.
