%X ThreenewgeneraandspeciesofperleididfishesfromtheMiddleTriassicstrataofYunnanProvince,i.e.,Fuyuanperleidusdengigen.etsp.nov.,Luopingperleidussuigen.etsp.nov.£¬andDiandongperleidusdenticulatusgen.etsp.nov.,aredescribedinthispaper.Fuyuanperleidusdengiisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbytheshapeofthemaxilla,thebigteeth,theornamentationoftheskullbones,maxillafusedwiththefirstinfraorbitalandthedeepenedflankscales.Luopingperleidussuiisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbythefollowingfeatures:thetriangularmainbranchiostegalrays,fourhorizontalrowsofdeepenedflankscalesanteriortothepelvicfin,andthreeanalscales.Diandongperleidusdenticulatusisdistinguishablefromotherperleididsbythefollowingfeatures:theanteriorborderofsomeanteriorfinraysofboththepairedfinsandthedorsalandanalfinsbearingdenticles,andposteriorstronglyserratedscales.ThenewdiscoveriesnotonlyaddtothediversityofperleididfishesinSouthChina,butalsoshednewlightontheradiationofTriassicperleididfishesintheworld.
