ExperimentalSimulationonChemical-loopingCombustionofColdModelKeywords: chemical-loopingcombustion,coldflowmodel,pressureprofile,gasvelocity,solidcirculationrate Abstract: Thepressureprofiles,gasvelocities,solidcirculationrate,solidsflux,residencetimedistributionofgasandparticlesinchemical-loopingcombustionreactorsandgasleakagewerestudiedinacoldflowmodelunit.Andtheseparametersinbothairandfuelreactorsweremeasuredintheexperimentalstage.Theexperimentalresultsshowthatgasfluidizationvelocityintheairreactoris1.8m/s,gasfluidizationvelocityinthefuelreactor0.5m/s,andthebedmaterialsinventoryofthetworeactorsbetween1.2to3.15kg.Thefirstcoldflowmodelresultsshowthatthesolidcirculationratesaresufficient.Theappropriateoperatingconditionsareoptimizedandthesummaryoffinalchangesismadetheoncoldmodel.Theproposeddesignsolutionsarecurrentlybeingverifiedinacoldflowmodelsimulatingtheactualreactor(hot)system.Thispaperpresentsanoverviewoftheresearchperformedonacoldflowmodelandhighlightsthecurrentstatusofthetechnology.
