AntibacterialPropertiesofV-dopedTitanium-bearingBlastFurnaceSlagPreparedatDifferentCalcinationTemperaturesKeywords: Vdoping,titanium-bearingblastfurnaceslag,photocatalyst,antibacterialactivity,calcinationtemperature Abstract: Perovskite-typeV-dopedtitanium-bearingblastfurnaceslag(VTBBFS)photocatalystwaspreparedbyhigh-temperaturesolidphasemethod.TheinfluenceofcalcinationtemperatureonthephotocatalyticandantibacterialpropertiesofVTBBFSwasstudiedindetails.ItscompositionandmicrostructurewereevaluatedbyX-raydiffractometer,ultraviolet-visibleabsorptionspectrometer,Fouriertransforminfraredspectrometerandscanningelectronmicroscope.TheantibacterialpropertiesofVTBBFStoCandidaalbicanswereinvestigatedbyflaskoscillationmethod.TheresultsshowedthattheopticalabsorptionandantibacterialpropertiesofVTBBFSwerethebestwith10%(w)dopingofvanadium,preparedat800℃for2h,anditssterilizationratewascloseto100%toCandidaalbicans(ATCC10231).Theminimuminhibitoryandminimumbactericidalconcentrationswere25and50mg/mL.Whentheconcentrationwas0.2mg/mL,thecatalysthadtheleasttoxictoxicity.
