Synthesis,CharacterizationandSurfacePropertiesofCross-linkedPolyurethaneDispersionsModifiedbyOrganosiloxaneKeywords: polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS),surfaceproperties,polyurethane,contactangle,characterization Abstract: Aseriesofcross-linkedpolyether-polyesterpolyurethanedispersionsmodifiedwithorganosiloxanewerepreparedbasedonhydroxyl-terminatedpolydimethylsiloxane(HTPS)ashydrophobiccomponentand3-aminopropyl-triethoxysilane(APTS)ascross-linkeraswellasabridgebetweenpolyurethane(PU)andpolysiloxane(PSIL).ItwasdiscoveredthatpolydimethylsiloxanesegmentswereincorporatedintoPUchainschemicallyandorganosiloxanewaspreferentiallyorientedtowardthesurfacelayerofthefilmbymakingacomparisonofattenuatedtotalreflection(ATR)spectrabetweenthecopolymerandtheblendofPUandPSIL,whichwasfurtherconfirmedbyinvestigationofelectronspectroscopyforchemicalanalysis(ESCA).Therelationshipsbetweensurfacepropertiesofthefilmformedfrompolyurethanedispersionandorganosiloxanecontentwerealsostudied.Theresultsshowedthatwatercontactangleofthefilmincreasedwiththeincreaseoforganosiloxanecontent.Interestingly,itwasalsofoundthatwatercontactangleofPUSfilmincreasedfirstlyandthendecreasedwhenfilm-formingtemperaturevariedfrom25℃to55℃.
