Abstract:
？Vanadiumphosphorusoxide(VPO)catalystsweresynthesizedbythedihydratemethodwhichinvolvedthetwostepsforthepreparationofthedihydrate(VOPO4×2H2O)andtheprecursorhemihydrate(VOHPO4×0.5H2O).BiandNisaltwereaddedintothemixtureofVOPO4×2H2Oandisobutanol,andtheobtainedprecursorswerecalcinedinaflowofan-butane/airmixturetoproducethepromotedVPOcatalysts.ThecatalystswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD),N2adsorption-desorption,inductivelycoupledplasma-atomicemissionspectroscopy,scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),andH2temperature-programmedreduction(H2-TPR).Theircatalyticpropertiesweretestedusingafixed-bedmicroreactor.AllthecatalystsgavemainXRDpeaksat2θ=22.9°,28.5°,and30.0°,attributingtothe(020),(204),and(221)planesofthepyrophosphatephase(VO)2P2O7,respectively.Thepromotedcatalystshavesmallercrystallitesizeandhigherspecificsurfaceareas.SEMmicrographsrevealedtheformationofmoreprominentplate-likecrystallitesthatwerearrangedasrosetteclusters.H2-TPRresultsshowedthatthepromotedcatalystshadlowerreductionpeaktemperaturesandpossessedhigheramountsofV5+-O2-andV4+-O-pairs,whichgavehigherselectivityandactivityintheselectiveoxidationofn-butanetomaleicanhydride.
