%0 Journal Article %T EffectsofBiandNionthepropertiesofavanadiumphosphorusoxidecatalyst %A Yun Hin Taufiq-Yap %A Choon Seon Yuen %A Nawi @ Mohamed Nurul Suziana %A Ramli Irmawati %J ´ß»¯Ñ§±¨ %P 270-276 %D 2014 %R 10.1016/S1872-2067(12)60749-9 %X £¿Vanadiumphosphorusoxide(VPO)catalystsweresynthesizedbythedihydratemethodwhichinvolvedthetwostepsforthepreparationofthedihydrate(VOPO4¡Á2H2O)andtheprecursorhemihydrate(VOHPO4¡Á0.5H2O).BiandNisaltwereaddedintothemixtureofVOPO4¡Á2H2Oandisobutanol,andtheobtainedprecursorswerecalcinedinaflowofan-butane/airmixturetoproducethepromotedVPOcatalysts.ThecatalystswerecharacterizedbyX-raydiffraction(XRD),N2adsorption-desorption,inductivelycoupledplasma-atomicemissionspectroscopy,scanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM),andH2temperature-programmedreduction(H2-TPR).Theircatalyticpropertiesweretestedusingafixed-bedmicroreactor.AllthecatalystsgavemainXRDpeaksat2¦È=22.9¡ã,28.5¡ã,and30.0¡ã,attributingtothe(020),(204),and(221)planesofthepyrophosphatephase(VO)2P2O7,respectively.Thepromotedcatalystshavesmallercrystallitesizeandhigherspecificsurfaceareas.SEMmicrographsrevealedtheformationofmoreprominentplate-likecrystallitesthatwerearrangedasrosetteclusters.H2-TPRresultsshowedthatthepromotedcatalystshadlowerreductionpeaktemperaturesandpossessedhigheramountsofV5+-O2-andV4+-O-pairs,whichgavehigherselectivityandactivityintheselectiveoxidationofn-butanetomaleicanhydride. %K Vanadiumphosphorusoxidecatalyst %K Promoter %K n-Butaneoxidation %K Maleicanhydrideselectivity %U http://www.chxb.cn/CN/abstract/abstract21217.shtml
