Abstract:

?Thepaperstudiestheproblemoffaultdetectionfilterdesignforuncertainlinearcontinuous-timesystems.Adesignproceduredealingwithparameteruncertaintiesisproposedforresidualgeneration,thesensitivitytofaultandtherobustnessagainstdisturbancesarebothenhancedonresidualoutputsthroughsatisfyingsomeperformanceindexes.BytheaidofthegeneralizedKalman-Yakubovich-Popov(GKYP)lemma,thefaultsensitivityperformanceindexcanbedealtwithinthegivenfrequencyrangedirectly,whichavoidsapproximationsassociatedwithfrequencyweightsoftheexistingtechniques.Aniterativealgorithmbasedonlinearmatrixinequality(LMI)isgiventoobtainthesolutions.Anumericalexampleisgiventoillustratetheeffectivenessoftheproposedmethods.
