一种联合速率控制和缓冲管理的VBR视频鲁棒传输方法DOI: 10.3724/SP.J.1004.2008.00337, PP. 337-343 Keywords: Variable-bit-rate(VBR),videostreaming,programclockreference(PCR),buffermanagement,proportional-integracontroller Abstract: ？Inthispaperwepresentanadaptivevideotransmissionframeworkthatintegratesrateallocationandbuffercontrolatthesourcewiththeplaybackadjustmentmechanismatthereceiver.Atransmissionrateisdeterminedbyarateallocationalgorithmwhichusestheprogramclockreference(PCR)embeddedinthevideostreamstoregulatethetransmissionrateinarefinedway.Theserversidealsomaintainsmultiplebuffersforpacketsofdifferentimportancelevelstotradeoffrandomlossforcontrolledlossaccordingtothesourcebuffersize,thevisualimpact,andtheplaybackdeadline.Anover-boundaryplaybackadjustmentmechanismbasedonproportional-integra(PI)controllerisadoptedatthereceivertomaximizethevisualqualityofthedisplayedvideoaccordingtotheoveralllossandthereceiverbufferoccupancy.Theperformanceofourproposedframeworkisevaluatedintermsofpeaksignal-to-noiseratio(PSNR)inthesimulations,andthesimulationresultsdemonstratetheimprovementoftheaveragePSNRvaluesaswellasthebetterqualityofthedecodedframes.
