Abstract:

?Animprovedcooperativetrackingmodelisproposed,whichisbasedonthelocalinformationbetweenmutuallyobservableindividualswithglobalobjectinformation,andthismodelisusedforscalablesocialforagingswarm.Inthismodel,the“follower”individualsintheswarmtakethecenteroftheminimalcircumcircledecidedbytheneighborsinthepositivevisualsetofindividualasitslocalobjectposition.WestudythestabilitypropertiesofcooperativetrackingbehaviorofsocialforagingswarmbasedonLyapunovstabilitytheory.Simulationsshowthatthestablecooperativetrackingbehavioroftheglobalsocialforagingswarmcanbeachievedeasily,andbeautifulscalabilityemergefromtheproposedmodelforsocialforagingswarm.
