Abstract:

?Thecontinuous-timegeneralizedpredictivecontrol(CGPC)andthequantitativefeedbacktheory(QFT)areusedtogethertocontroltheplantwithhighuncertainty.QFTconquerstheplantuncertaintyandstabilizesthesystemintheinnerloopwithoutaffectingthenominalperformancebasedonthegeneralizedinternalmodelcontrol(GIMC)structure.CGPCisusedtoobtainthenecessarycontrolperformanceintheouterloop.Accordingtoseveralgivensufficientconditions,theavailabletuningparametersofCGPCareselectedtomakethesystemrobustlystable.Finally,anexampleisgiventoshowhowtousethistechnique;anditisshownthatthiscombinedapproachgetsbetterperformancethanifonlyoneofthemisused.
